We've decided to embrace artificial intelligence —not because it is fashionable but because it will be crucial for our students' success.
Our aim is for our students to leverage AI to boost their potential. They should not be left competing with machines but be empowered to achieve more alongside them.

The necessity of AI skills today is akin to literacy and numeracy in the past.
Without it, our students would be left handicapped.
They’d be overshadowed by automation & the machines themselves.
They’d also be overcome by their peers around the world who are learning how to use this awesome new technology.
We are making sure this does not happen.
We're ensuring they stay competitive and skilled.
Our students will have the skills and knowledge to stand on equal footing with anyone, anywhere.

However, our focus on AI doesn't mean we're sidelining the human elements of education.
On the contrary, we're doubling down on developing our students' sense of agency.
We want them to use AI as a tool, not a crutch.
We want them to harness AI, not depend on it.
It's vital that they feel capable of authoring their own lives, making informed decisions, and solving problems independently.

AI makes everything easier. The temptation of easy answers provided by AI is undeniable.

However, we believe in the value of productive struggle.
The ability to concentrate is increasingly challenging today but more important than ever.
In an era of constant notifications and instant gratification, the skill of focusing on a single task has become rare – yet it remains essential for deep learning and critical thinking.
True understanding and innovation come from grappling with complex problems, not from taking shortcuts.

Learning is deeper if our students have to work a bit harder to build their knowledge and skills.

This is why our curriculum is being designed to balance the use of AI with opportunities for students to experience and overcome challenges independently.
